Three Flowers You Can Forage to Make Jelly

Did you know you can make jelly from flowers?

Here are three flowers you can forage to make jelly.

Lilacs

We have made lilac jelly from both purple and white lilacs. It comes out lovely each time. You can find lilac bushes around many old homesteads as well as in some modern yards.

Dandelions

This is like sunshine in a jar! We use just the flower petals from the dandelions.. The jelly comes out a lovely pale yellow and has a light floral-honey flavor.

Wild Roses

This is one for my to-do list this year. We like rose hip jelly but I am even more excited to try rose petal jelly.
